Well, I originally hand-made a Scratch Cat keychain, why not make one of Gobo to join him?

Wow, nice hand-work.
What are they made of?

They're made of something known as polymer clay (brand is Sculpey UltraLight). it's a type of modeling material that you have to bake in the oven to harden.

My mom used to do that... Of course, she then got fasinated with making glass necklaces, so she stopped. And then got caught up with T-shirt designing...

ZOMG I WANT ONE!!!! D: THOSE ARE AWESOME! Very well made!
Thanks. I'm thinking about making a tutorial on how to make one out of clay so everyone can make one.

Very nice.
Approximately how much did it cost to make?

Hmm, I can't remember what I paid for the modeling polymer... but a pack of white Sculpey Ultralight shouldn't be more than $10 (you can use pastel shavings to dye white polymer clay). I nabbed a small can of clear varnish from my father after baking so the pieces would stay protected, but I guess that's optional.

That's a brilliant keychain! Very good detail - now make a shop so we can get some keychains.

I probably can't do that... unless, of course, I want to get sued by MIT.

You know what WOULD be COOL and PRACTICAL though?
You would send a few, or any amount (small portion) to MIT, and then at MIT, at Scratch Day, there would be a raffle for them! In previous years, they raffled stuff like Scratch T-Shirts and Sensor Boards, but just so you know, the raffling isn't from money - in previous years, they raffle prizes, but in order to get into the raffle, you have to fill out a worksheet of activities, such as collaborating to make a project, or getting signatures from people who have done certain things such as uploaded 5 projects, gone on the forums, know who gobo is, etc. So we could win stuff cheddargirl made!!!

That would be interesting... only problem would be shipping and handling from New York to Massachusetts, though (the keychains would probably have to be put in a box with some packaging so they don't get crushed
).

That's because most keychains in shop are made with cheap plastic and commercialism. I make mine with tender love and care. :3
