Post in the forums, advertise in your sig, and advertise on other forums! My forums aren't that popular, though...

Ways to get popular:
#1 - Have an awesome username (like Ace-Of-Spades)
#2 - Have a high post count.
#3 - Have awesome projects.
#4 - Pretend to quit Scratch (infamy)
#5 - Annoy people (Infamy)
#6 - Troll (infamy)
#7 - Ludicrous Announcement Projects (infamy or fame, depending on how you do it)
#8 - Help people out alot
#9 - Make (not randomly add) lots of friends

Usernames don't matter. Having a high post count doesn't matter. You joined this year and you have spammed your way past tons of veteran user's post counts. That doesn't make you popular, it makes you a spammer. And having awesome projects? That's really helpful...

Ya, same
So to be honest, dont realy worry -even i don't care. just try to rember that fame isn't as important as fun.

It seems random, but forums seem to help... I barely had any views, but then I joined the forums and got a boost.

A good idea is to avoid creating a bunch of different projects and uploading them in a matter of a few days. Choose one project to spend a lot of time on. The end result turns out much better than a hastily done project. Make some great projects like this, advertise them, and it'll get you lots of views on your projects!
Well, it's either that or do some sort of a publicity stunt that gets you lots of attention at once. I don't know about you, but I'd go with the first one.

What I've learned is that you can't ever get front page with some simple simulation or drawing. You need an actual full fledged game. And a pocketful of luck.

Here's how my 2 week old project got 103 views: put in in as many galleries as you can find. I put my project in 25 galleries, so for a popular project, how about at least in 20 galleries.

Why doesn't anyone look in Show and Tell? There's plenty of guides...
Here's mine: How to make your projects/galleries popular (more than Show and Tell)

I do, but I don't bother to read through them. I just get bored and go away.
