Depends on the person. If the person feels comfortable posting their email on one of my project I will use that. Otherwise I will upload it to a file hosting website, and post a link on one of their projects.

But whatever, I know you, so I'll allow you to be a beta-tester.
Do you want to post your email on one of my projects or should I use a file-hosting website.

Re: GQ3 BETA TESTERS [Sub-thread]

I, soupoftomato, should beta-test. I should be able to do this because I am able to point out flaws in a game politely, and give reasonable explanation. Please pick me for beta-testing.

Thank you.

I would love to be a beta tester. Not only do I spot glitches, but I give great feedback.

File-share I will comment on your project with a link to a website where you can download GQ3. Email I will email you an attachment of the file. It's all about what you're comfortable with.

E.g. I only give out email to sign-ups for websites or things like that. So I was uncomfortable giving my email out evn though I trust him, I feel safer using the file-sharing method.

Re: GQ3 BETA TESTERS [Sub-thread]

The game was good, even though I could only get to level 2, I think I found some of the most important fixes.

Game Over, should just restart you from the very first level if possible.
How do I enter my level code.
Spell I want to learn doesn't always work, weven when I am sure I typed it in right.
I never passed the first level of GQ2, but is the first level just a complete copy of it? Seems so, I'm not sure about the other levels. If anything, adding new features doesn't make it a new game.

Re: GQ3 BETA TESTERS [Sub-thread]

It is very smooth. But when I start, the guide isn't complete on the top. I think that maybe you should have ways to get back incase you get to a spot where you can't go back, and you just missed the platform to get you to the next part.
The graphics were pretty good, maybe a title screen with more art?

-I think if you start over from the first level on a game over it may be unfair when you level up and then go back to the beginning to ramp up points
- "q" should allow you to input your level code
- As I said in my comment at the moment the level design is the same, but I plan to change it as soon as possible
-which spells in particular didn't work?
