Have you ever wanted to use music from your favorite game in your project? well read on to find out how to easily rip video game music / video game sound effects.
Step 1. Get one of these. (I don't know what it is called.)
Step 2. Attatch one end to your TV's headphone jack. ( If your TV has one. Some don't.) Or attatch it into the headphone jack of your hand held game.
Step 3. Attatch the other end to the microphone jack of your computer. [Double Check: is one end in your TV/Handheld and the other end in your microphone jack of your computer? If yes then procceed to the next step.]
Step 4. Open a recording software on your computer. (Scratch sound recorder, Microsoft Sound Recorder, Audacity, garage band, etc.) Click record. This will record what ever sounds are coming from your TV/Hand Held. Congrats, you just ripped some VGM.
[Other ideas: You can also use this method to record rom a TV show, a DVD, an electric piano, a cellphone, an MP3 player, or anything with a headphone jack.)
