You can see the exact location (it's exactly pointing at the building) here.
I remember being their, waiting until 10:30 AM for the doors to open, and then entering the majestic building on May 16th, 2009.... ah....good memories
This is the location of where you would enter the Scratch Day @ MIT 2009 building, and where the Scratch Meetup (2008?) was, at Something Ames Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States..
According to the Scratch Day Website, the new location is at 88 Amherst Street, but still at a similar location.
I can't wait to go there
Note to people arranging scratch day stuff: I recommend putting a link to it on Google Maps (Street View) so people can see exactly where to go - It's very handy!

Yep, I am. How old are you? You are probably older than me. I am 11 and I will be 12 in April.

I'm just as old as you, about. But I'll turn 12 in June

Then why don't you guys organize an event yourselves! Contact an event organizer in your area, and tell them your ideas about a Scratch Event. I bet with your interests, you'd be able to persuade them. There plenty of resources and planning guys here, so why not get started?

I don't want a bunch of random 3rd grade kids running around my house.
What's this day even about?

But you have like 3 events in Minnesota.. lucky...
Good point!
Littletonkslover, see the event here!
It may be a distance away, but if I lived where you where, and my dad knew how dedicated I was to Scratch, he'd probably understand, as after all, it would be an educational event, and it would be better than playing video games in the house

Scratch Day is a holiday - just like Christmas - but more important
It's a day to celebrate scratch, and to come together and share ideas, and collaborate! Nothing much more I can say!

Thing is, I don't know anyone in my area who uses scratch besides myself, which is a slight problem.
Maybe I'll just spend the day online

Where do you live? (state - I don't want any personal location like town or anything)
There's probably an event, and even if there isn't, planning is still in the beginning, so within the next few months, a few more events will probably pop up
But even if you can't find an event, there will be plenty of things to do online. There will most likely my some galleries to post projects, and there will be other activities

Awesome! It looks like that street view picture was made before our new building (right next door) was started. Here's a page that describes our new digs:

Sounds awesome!
Written in Lightnin's link:
The Media Lab has expanded into a new, six-floor structure with approximately 163,000 square feet of laboratory, office, and meeting space designed by the Tokyo-based architectural firm of Maki and Associates.
Quite complex

this thread makes it seem like there is only one scratch day, and it is at MIT. you should change it so people know that they are happening at the same time all around the world, and post the website with all the events or something so people can check it out

That is a pretty good idea. I wish they would re-open the Scratch Day forums.

I thought I had to be a organizer to use those forums.
