You... You... You... You dismantled the bricks!
Offline
Step 1: Turn Fill-Screen off
Step 2: Take a block from the Block Palette
Step 3: Alt-Click the text of the block until the purple text under the block is "String"
Step 4: Drag the black symbol
Step 5: Repeat from Step 3 until the block has no more text
Step 6: Repeat from Step 3 with text-boxes and drop-down menus until the plock is empty.
You now have dismantled blocks!

When I go to SCratch - Objects>ScriptableScratchMorph>Class, there is no Scratch option.

In 1.4, it's 'blockspecs' instead of 'scratch'.

Very cool! I'm not one to mess with the source code, but, hey, I might as well try it!

I had to skip reinstalling the file at (Computer/OS (C / Program files (X86)/Scratch/Scratch.exe) Apparently that's not deleted in the uninstall. I'm never going to touch source code again...meh...time to give it a second go!

One question: If you edit the source code and make new blocks like these, can the project with the new blocks be uploaded to the website normally?
The obsolete ones DO work in normal, unhacked scratch, but not online, as do the special image effects. Unfortunately, though, the blocks that you create from scratch (pun intended) only work in the version that you've made.
So no, none work online .
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can share your project online, but oblosete blocks won't work. You can; a) put the hack in the comments list, have users use THAT hack in THEIR Scratch, and download it. OR (The easier way) Build it in BYOB (Build Your Own Blocks, I like calling it Scratch 1.2), get other users to build it in BYOB, and have them download.
