Trouble uploading project

I have been trying to upload a project, but it keeps getting stuck on the bit where it says: Connecting to scratch.mit.edu...

It doesn't come up with an error message at all, the bar just doesn't move any further. I've also tried uploading another project, but the same thing happens.

Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

Re: Trouble uploading project

Check your internet connection. I can't think of any other reasons for that to happen...

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: Trouble uploading project

Some projects do take a ridiculous amount of time to upload, especially ones that are several megabytes of memory. Just be patient. The bar doesn't move very often and spends more times stuck than actually making progress. Some of my projects have taken half an hour to upload. Like hmnwilson pointed out to, a slow internet connection won't help either.

Re: Trouble uploading project

You may be using an old version of Linux where you could be having a bug. Or maybe any Windows before XP. Another possible reason is that the project is too big. If the case, compress it.
