Hey all

I'm J0j2, been on scratch for a while. I'm sure you guys know all the crud on scratch. The dreamcaster RHY thing, nikkiperson2 quits, and now the worst, gabbylence and Mahoashley. But, I'm not going to quit. I'd just really like to know that there are some people who agree with me, so kindly put that you're with me on the following:

I don't want to have fame if it means anger
I don't want to leave the site I like
I will keep scratch the best community it can be
Even though we can all recall the bad events
But I won't give in. I joined because I wanted a good time
and as bad as it may be, if we all go in together and stop the bad,
we can regain the good.

I just feel like there's so much stuff thats bad, if we can just remember what scratch is about, Imagining, Programming and Sharing, we'll bring it back. Though we miss the people we've lost in this time, following them by quitting doesn't help. What will is by bringing it back to life by staying and applying what you know as good to scratch.

Alas, even the Scratch Team is encouraging allowing art on the site, giving utter disrespect to the best word in the motto, PROGRAM.

Well, if it causes other people anger because they don't admire my good work, than I don't care, and nobody will get me angry, because I'm mature enough to ignore the mean comments. Other than that, I generally agree with the oath.

Here's my own alternative oath

I will not spaz out because internet people disagree with me or for other silly reasons
No one will force me to stay or leave, I do as I please
I will contribute what I feel like contributing
I will ignore the other people who spaz out for silly reasons
I will be generally pleasant as I (hopefully) am in real life
I will use scratch to Imagine, Program, and Share like it was designed for

I'm not sure if anyone's taken Law before, but I don't think this is legal. I probably won't take Law in the future, though.

I took Law class. An oath in court is a commitment to tell the truth. Usually an oath is just an ordinary promise and not punishable by law.
