Okay....  hmm  You okay? If you want, you could have a go at the one that we still have on the competition page, keep your self busy while we work on 1.1.  smile

I tried doing the current competition, but I got annoyed after the power shut off and I hadn't saved.

Maybe I should try again...

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

What are these multidimenional arrays which you speak of? Do they drop in and out of the dimension we know of? Are they 2D? 3D? 4D?

4D is: up, down, left, right, forward, backward and time...
people can only do up to 3D for the moment.

Not true, we are moving through time all the time. Ever seen a distance time graph? It can be plotted! So now imagine a three dimensional graph where the geographical position of an object is plotted. Your Y Axis can be your object's height, the Z axis can be the object's location (in terms of left or right from a starting point) and the X axis will plot the time!

Even so, I'm not sure what multi-dimensional arrays are, maybe Math would like to add them and we can see!

Its where a list item has items. Simply put. Math suggested it ages ago, on one of the older archieved chats.

Byobs list items can take lists, so essentialy, the list items have items. I geuss it could be called that.

Actually, 4-dimensional can refer to 2 things in space:
- 4d space (ana, kata, wint, zant, upsilon, and delta)
- 3d space with time (next time frame)
I believe they could do 4d.

I'd prefer something like Squeak! e.g. Lynx! with a ! or maybe SqueakTalk!.

Just wondering if Panther is still being worked on :3

Is 1.0 still the latest version?

Because of nXIII's inactivity we've had to regroup and are trying to get some work done on 1.1, but eventually, even if it takes the a while, it will be released!

Re: Panther development thread

We do. Mathwizz is probably the main programmer atm though he seems busy. The problems we're facing are hard to fix too, such as fixing custom block exporting/importing, adding images and colours to lists and some other stuff.
