They said that the domain has been deleted sad as there was an error and it has gone off it's server. So they will give me another domain (.co.uk) but it won't go through for a week or so. SO what do you want your next domain to be?

How do you get free domains, anyway?

Free domains... that depends... some have adds, but there isn't any free domains with hosting and no forced adds. So... what are you trying to do?

The law might well be different in different countries, but in the US a minor cannot legally enter into contracts of any kind. (This is why unaccompanied kids aren't allowed in ToysRUs -- they aren't afraid you'll break somtehing; they're afraid you'll buy something and then later your parents will come demand your money back (without even having to return the toy!).) A license is not exactly the same as a contract and Ianal, so maybe I'm wrong about this, but I think technically your parent or guardian would have to issue the license.

The first domain I got was free because I have one I use for something else, and I got one free one.

A couple years ago I made a Google site about something and then I bought a domain name off them (expensive then, about £39.99 ($58) a year). I kept it for two years and then they sent me an e-mail a couple weeks ago saying that I qualify for a free .co.uk domain so obviously I made one for Panther, but now they say there was an error, the domain has been deleted. So they are giving me another free one.

Markyparky's sort of wrong. You see, there are ways to get free domains without ads...

-dot.tk (like http://pantherprogramming.tk/ )
-.co.nr (like http://www.pantherprogramming.co.nr/ )
(both these sites exist)

You can't get .co.uk's ect. for free any way!

The only way that you could get a free .co.uk domain is if you are a British Business. Then you can go to http://www.gbbo.co.uk where you get a free site for your small business and a .co.uk domain name!

I get along fine with 000webhost, they give you a nice obscure subdomain for free (like something.net23.net)
