why do people sleep? I missed SO MUCH! thank you all for the many, many suggestions, it's just what we need. I like the idea of more stuff in the "meet the developers" section, I'll add my bio in a sec. I'm sorry about all the spelling errors, that's what you get for not checking, and writing in notepad, which does not have spellchecker. I'll update the tos to a slightly more presentable state when I have a mo. Still, at least it suggests people are actully reading it, rather than just downloading. (You may notice that parts of the tos were nicked from the scratch one, and if some scratch guy could check that we have fullfilled all the requirements set out by their tos, I would appreciate that.)

Oh, one person mentioned in a glitch report that the camera connection wasn't working, you were just getting a transparant costume. Here's why (I think) the block runs faster than the camera can cope, try putting a [wait(0.01)secs] block in with your camera feed loop. (you can see an example of this in the sample projects.)
O_o I just looked at our site stats for yesterday, 998 unique visitors and over 2000 site views in total! ... WOW.

No, I meant like defining a filepath with a costume block and then having it load that costume without a dialog box.
I think, that isn't able, but you can open a user-defined block at the start. Just replace the "default.sprite" in the Panther block with your sprite file.
And I have a plan how to hack panther

Open the block code with right-click on the block opens the browser. Then I'll add a bit to the menu build methods, which saves the image. I can open the block to open the browser, and I can save the image with the new menu entry

And leave that as a single script.

To Sparks (mainly)
I was wondering if you've used/tried my Panther Installer yet. I know It might now work as well on macs as there are a hell of a lot of mac users here, but you could have a download link for windows. I know you've been busy with bug fixes ect, yesterday and today, but please get back to me. The link's http://www.mediafire.com/?wdw2gvdzvzi..

What do you think? That's the message for rebuilding the file menu.

I do it a different way.
And that way doesn't work that well, as compared to my camera script.

I use mac -- could that be a problem?
On my MacBook Pro, I can read files in my directory by using absolute paths, e.g., /Users/bh/foo. But attempts to write, with either absolute or relative paths, end up in the great bit bucket in the sky.
The exact same thing happens for me.

actually, that way, you end up with one photo ever two seconds, one second to open the camera at the start loop, then 0.01 secs to take the photo, then another second to close the camera. You're better off putting the forever inside the dowith loop and that way you will get about 3FPS. (6X faster) (you'll need a [wait(0.01)secs] block in the loop too.)

I am currently working on a project similar to the PS2 Eyetoy or PS3 Eyepet. It will know where the player is using colours of pixels.
