Commenting

I am on vacation, so I am using a strange computer. On this computer, I can go to Scratch, log in, read comments and the Forums, and see projects, but I can not delete messages or post comments! I can also go to other sites on the internet. I am using a Mac, and a cable to connect to the internet.

Why can't I comment?   sad

Re: Commenting

Thanks Boopaloo! I really want to start, and I will be home on tomorrow (or maybe the day after) so I can start then!  smile

I don't know why this computer won't work. Maybe Java is not installed on it (although I don' t know if that would make a difference) but I can see projects...

Anyway, I have been reading your comments on Crank_inc. every day (there is not a lot to do here, I have finished all my books) , even though I'm not commenting.

Re: Commenting

When I try to comment, nothing happens. When I try to delete a notification, it says (where it would usually say how many messages I had) that I have NaN.

Re: Commenting

That NaN message has been showing up on a lot of people's accounts.  Not related to your problem, I'm pretty sure.

Are you positive you are logged in to your Scratch account?  Can you download projects?  It would explain a lot if you were not logged in.  Everything you are able to do can be done by somebody not logged in to the site.

Re: Commenting

"It's not a bug, it's a feature!"  lol

lol, when I was making a game and could not get it to work right, I kept trying to somehow make the bug into a feature... in the end I had to admit, "Okay... it's a bug."

Re: Commenting

You may be sure, but you didn't answer the question.  Can you download projects or not?

Here's another question, are cookies enabled on that machine?  It might be logging you out as fast as you log in if cookies were not enabled.  And now I'll stop pretending I know what I'm talking about and let you take it up with somebody who knows something!  Good luck.

Re: Commenting

I don't know what cookies are, but I am not getting logged out so I guess they are. Scratch is not downloaded on this computer (it is my grandfather's) so I don't know if I can download projects or not.
