BRACES!!!!......

OMG I just got braces today and after a few hours they started huting sooo bad! God dang! *winces* Hopefully...it will....go...away soon....*winces* Does anyone...have...braces too? God it hurts.....

I've had braces for 5+ years and I still hate them. They make your teeth hurt after being adjusted for about 2 days and half of everything you eat will get stuck in your braces.

It's times like these that make me really happy that I got my braces off a month ago  tongue

I got mine on today as well. There are a few things that are making it near impossible to use my mouth:

-There is a loose wire poking into the lower back of either side of my cheek.
-There are brackets on the inside of the two top back teeth.
-The bands around the lower back teeth are strangely sharp and keep irritating my tongue.

I'm going to be drinking a lot of food this week.

It hurts a bunch, but nothing that can't be distracted. ^^ I usualy go for a bike ride, or draw a picture. Takes your mind off of the pain, you know? :3

You'd be amazed at how dramatic the change is after just a few months. My teeth were messed up before, but now they look pretty good. ^_^

yikes  5+ years!? Why??? And what you say is true. My teeth already hurt and it's been not one full day. Grrr after dinner (We had really good meatballs) all the mush got stuck and I spent a good 10min using a tooth pick....braces suck  sad

U guys are overreacting.  It hurts at first and you spend like a week with pudding and meal replacements but after that you hardly notice them.  I've had mine almost two years and it barely hurts to get them tightened

also about getting food stuck in your teeth for some reason I never do anymore.

Yeah, I had them too - it was a drag, but you get used to it.  It's been a long time since they got taken out - and my teeth are still mostly straight.

Help Scratchers make the leap to 2.0!

I've had them for 3-4 years (I forget now). They only really hurt for a few days after you get them, but soon you'll get used to them and won't feel them at all.  smile

Unfortunately, when you get them tightened, they start hurting again.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Come on, try Broadcastic OS 2.0. It has 3 editions for businesses, media, and home. Also, there's Broadcastic OS Metro Edition Release Candidate.
