Voice Blocks

What if there was a block in Scratch for creating sentences?
I think it would be like this: There would be a sound block  <play Voice(  ) saying (  ) For (  ) Seconds and a <set Voice to(  ) block.

You could select a voice from a list of say, 100 and play it for however many seconds.
ie. play Voice 11 (Deep male voice)  saying "Scratch is amazing" for 3 seconds.

So, it'd sound like a deep-voiced man saying "Scratch is amazing" for three seconds.

I'd like these blocks because if you need speaking parts in a project but you can't/won't speak them yourself, you could have these blocks to say them for you.

However, I don't know if Scratch programmers can do that with Squeak.

Please tell me if you know they can and/or if you agree with me!

Re: Voice Blocks

Yeah, the only problem is then you would need to pre-record EVERY SINGLE WORD, or the pronunciation wouldn't be right.

And then accents...
