Hi, I'm trying to make a valentine for my wife in Scratch.
I've learned from this forum how to make the project run locally, so I can give it to her on a disk.
But I wish I could get rid of the frame there, you know, with the flag and the stop sign on it?
I also wish I could get it to run in presentation mode.
Is there any way to do these things?

You can try this http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=10122 it should work although I don't guarrantee it. I don't think there's a way to delete the frame.

One nice way of doing it is using the chrip compiler or BYOB's inbuilt compiler then to run a project make a .inf file named autorun.inf
in the file type
[autorun]
open=<your filename>.exe
icon=<your icon's name>.ico
Make sure that the autorun.inf , Your Executable an Your Icon are in the same folder then write the contents of the folder on a disk and you are done

I think you're both talking about how to make a stand-alone app, is that right? I'm on a Mac and so is my wife, but I appreciate your helpfulness.
And in any case, I don't really need to have a stand-alone app. All I want is a fullscreen experience and/or an experience without a frame. Either one would be good, really.

Hi, JesseFever,
you can start a Scratch project in presentation mode using the "presentation" command line switch. If you're using a Mac you might also want to have a look at Tony Hursh's useful presentation mode utility for Macs:
http://millenniumteacher.com/scratchstuff/
I'd be interested to know if that still works (since I don't have a Mac myself).
Good luck!
