port scratch project into squeak

I have made a scratch prject located at http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/vfilip/859424 . Trying to edit it under Scratch 1.4 sticks   my computer and i have to kill scratch process from task manager . I have understand that my program has reached upper memory limit and unfurtunately can't develop it any more . I am thinking of porting this project ro Squeak . There i suppose ,  i will  be able to develop it further .
But how can i do this porting . How do i port the source code to Squeak . Does anybody know ?

Re: port scratch project into squeak

There's no program that can port it for you, you'll have to remake it yourself.

Re: port scratch project into squeak

Do you mean move the scratch program into an official release of squeak (not MIT squeak), to run your project in?

If this is is your plan, then all I can say is that I've tried this too, and it is harder than it sounds.

However, there are a few things that I'd recommend you do to fix your problem:
1) Give scratch a higher priority. Do this from the processes tab of the task manager.
2) Increase your paging file. To do this, hit windows+M, then Windows+Pause, then go to the advanced tab, then click the settings button under performance. Go to the advanced tab of this new window, hit change under virtual memory. From the new window, select your primary drive (C), and click on 'custom size.' Now, increase the maximum. (I'd leave initial alone if I were you.)
3) Try scratch in safe mode. This is tedious, but it just might work.
