Yeah because this was totally an art thread.

O: I thought everybody knew that "my scanner works" is slang for "post your art here".

Whatever.
We need an art thread? I'll make one the same way I made the signature thread.

The left eye of the cat is bigger than the right, even if it's facing to the right. The pointy part on the eye looks like it's part of the nose (the area above the arc of the nose isn't clearly defined).
I know. I'm not good at making things symmetrical. But I thought the area was clearly defined enough.......
......Anything good about it? I made much better eyes today.

xD The white on it for the snow, and than the yellow for the sun...
That is so funny.

The nose is good on the cat. But if you learned about proportions already (if you ever took Art) then you'll know that the farther something is away from you, the smaller it is, so the cat having a larger eye on one side doesn't really have anything to do with symmetry but with the right proportions and angles. I also know how to do perspective drawings
(I can draw anything with a ruler. As long as it's not a free form, I can make anything and everything.)

Yes, I took art. I would fix the proportions now, but I had to turn that paper into my teacher and I don't get it back.
And drawing with a ruler is no fun. Everything is unnatural, stiff, and straight. D:

Rulers are necessary for proportions.

But if you only use them for drawing.......
They are okay for buildings and some proportions, but if you only draw lines with them the drawing looks stiff.

I'm not saying that I use them to draw all the lines in the piece, I'm saying they are necessary to get an idea on where things should be placed.
"Seen head-on, the [human] face can be divided into quarters. The lower half of the face is divided into five parts. Counting from the middle line, the nose is at 2/5th and the mouth at 3/5th. The distance between the eyes is equal to 1 eye. Wide-set eyes may make a face look infantile, and close-set eyes may inspire distrust... "
