Just a quick question about mesh.
Is it possible to connect 2 different scratch projects?
For example, the mario kart with RHY's mario vs yoshi?

That could be funny ^.^
Yay! this means that I can make a server program and another program for a very limited mmo! Making it only a (not massive) mo

That's would be fun!
I know midnightleopard has done something like that... there's two projects, colaborative drawing red and colaboritave drawing blue and you can connect them. Mesh is fascinating!

First, you must understand how it works. All it does is share variables and broadcasts between scratch on different computers.

Other than the fact that that has basically nothing to do with the question - yes.
If these same variables and broadcasts are present in both projects then both projects will have a response. If not - then nothing happens.

It does have to do with the question. If the OP's idea of connecting projects involves importing sprites and sharing the project's code then they have the wrong idea.

I have to agree with Archmage on this. Regarding Mesh, in general, it's pretty easy to connect a bunch of computers together. The problem is, what should they say to each other?
Imagine a roomful of people with blindfolds on, yelling at each other. That's what it's like when every sprite hears everything that every other sprite broadcasts. Ditto re global variables.
I suspect future versions of Scratch will address this pretty well, given how smart John, Evelyn, Eric, etc. are

You're just sucking up to them after reading their names off of the wikipedia page.

First, rude.
Second, I'm glad to see people rediscovering Mesh.
Third, I assume that the 2 projects of Mario Kart and Mario Vs. Yoshi wouldn't do much with each other, assuming they don't have similar coding.

I know, I just felt like saying that.
