In The Memory Of Junko Furuta.

Who here has heard of a young Japanese girl named Junko Furuta? If you had then you would also know what has happened to her that would be in history FOREVER. 21 years ago, 16 years old, Junko Furuta, was kidnapped and tortured in INHUMAN methods for 44 DAYS STRAIGHT. This is one of the most notorious and worst cases of torture murder ever recorded in history. It is also one of the most horrifying and heartbreaking. She was tortured so much that after ONLY a few days she was unable to MOVE and had trouble even BREATHING. She had tried to escape MULTIPLE times but when she got caught, her arms and legs were LIT on FIRE. After 43 days she knew that she wouldn't make it and couldn't take anymore torture. So did you know what she requested? She requested to be killed or to "get it over with" On the 44th day she was COMPLETELY lit on fire. However, she did not die from that burns. She died later that day from shock. The kidnappers taped her arms and legs together and threw her in an oil drum and filled it with cement and disposed the oil drum. A year later, the body was found and the 4 boys were convicted. The leader, served ONLY 8 years and today, they are free men.

To learn more about this tragedy, you can search it up on Google or Wikipedia.
Please discuss about this tragedy.

Rest In Peace, Junko Furuta.  sad

Send my regards to her.

Horrible...horrible...I don't know what to write. Its so- there are no words for me. I'm sorry I can't write. I'm sitting at my computer, crying. Disgusted at humanity for letting this go only 8 years! For doing this...

Re: In The Memory Of Junko Furuta.

Also this happened in Japan  sad
The judges let them go because the leader was a low-level Yukuza Clan leader in Japan. The Yazuka is the MOST feared clan, gang, in Japan. Also the parents of the leader EVEN knew about this happening and the girl even begged for the parents to help her. However, the parents replied that they couldn't because they were afraid their own son would hurt them.

That does seem short. In my country life sentence is only 20 years but you can get multiple life sentences.

In Britain it is forever(100-110 years).

That's the worst story I've ever heard.

How could people do that to an 16-year old girl?! Oh no what if they're out to get me D:

Lol it so stupid in the US because one life sentence is 100 years and its possible to get ANOTHER life sentence in the US...so for SOME BIZZARE reason that you live up to 100 years old then you gotta live up to 200 to get out of jail  lol

Yeah that doesn't sound like a real name. You can't have a good book without relatable characters.

This is a true story, I read about it on Wikipedia and learned a lot more disturbing things about her torture. It is amazing that she even survived for 2 days.

Oh it's real. I thought it was a story you were writing. If it was, I wouldn't read it, though, no offense. I don't like thinking about things like that.

But her real name is Junko? Why would her parents name her that?

Its just a name calm down. It like saying why would Obama's parents name him Barack? or Barack Obama "must" be fake, his first name is Barack.
