i have lot of paintings created with appleworks 6, from the time when i did not know about the scratch....i would like to upload them as a background on this web site here..but when i click on background and i get the option to upload i can stroll through my hardisk or my desktop or wherever i want to stroll...always to no avail....when the title of my appleworks painting appears on the screen it appears faded as if to say "you can't click on this, you can't upload this"...and, indeed, if i click on it anyway and try to upload it....just doesnt go....doesn't work....why not? do u know any other place any other web site where i can publish paintings that i have created with appleworks? i have a lot of them, good ones, the world deserves to see them!

I'm not too familiar with any macs newer than OS 6.5... however, I am guessing that you are saving it as an appleworks file, rather than an image file.
You should choose the 'export' option, instead of 'save.'
