But if you replaced top remixed w/ top downloaded, if people still did remix chains for fun, they would be on top downloaded, as you have to download something to remix it.... :\

The reason top remixed is so popular is because over 90% of Scratchers are 12 or younger. With such a young population comes less advanced projects, I mean, do you expect most 11 year olds to make something advanced? Remix chains offer younger, less advanced Scratchers something fun, easy, and creative to do.

You'll just have to be patient with it.

I'm graduating HS this April and going to college in the Fall.

I somewhat agree. It is a way for-er-never mind, that's exactly the point. I was about to say it is a good way for unknown scratchers to make the front page...which is not good.

And here's the thing: people say there should be a place where people can pick unknown, but good, Scratch projects...something called the curator spot. At least, that is what they are supposed to be doing  tongue

So until a reasonable section is thought of, one that wouldn't cause mayhem and craziness, I guess this is fine.

Artists can post art where they want. Like you can post games there, if you want. Scratch=Freedom and rights.

By the way, you have to be 13 to join Deviantart. So I really broke the law by joining. And it's not a very appropriate site for kids.( I guess I can handle it, but could other Scratchers?)

I have wanted Top Remixed to go for a while now. I agree with you that Surprise Projects should replace it, because I think that it would have more value than coloring contests and "add yurself duin a dance" projects.

I do not agree. The things on Top Remixed are fun to do. My goal is to have fun on Scratch (and get others to, also). So I like Top Remixed.

Now only using this account to post in Miscellaneous, but when Miss_Webgal becomes a Scratcher I'm ditching this account.
