The Guild of Scratch Knights

The Guild of Scratch Kinghts is a union of 5 virtual countries, Scoandiva, Juunceque, Gordanca, Wenpebo, and Titi. (See the map of these counrties@ http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jacobo/41106 ) I am king of Wenpebo and founder of the GSK.

How to become a member:
Step 1: Download my project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jacobo/41560  This is to create your avatar. Change your avatar to your liking. Save an image of your avatar. (If you don't know how to do that see directions posted below.

Step 2: Download my project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jacobo/41107  This is to create your weapon/tool. Change your weapon/tool to your liking. Save an image of your weapon/tool.

Step 3: Download my project http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jacobo/41578

Step 4: After downloading it, replace the sample avatar with your avatar.

Step 5: Replace the sample weapon/tool with your weapon/tool

Step 6: Change the (Job) of (country) to  your job and country
(See a  map of the countries @ http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jacobo/41108 )
(Examples of Jobs are: Merchant, Duke, Dutchess, Miner, jester, knight, blacksmith, ect.. If you want to become a king, queen, Prince, or Princess please ask in the forum first.)

Step 7: Peplace (your crest here) with a picture of your crest.

Step 8: To slots are left for any additional information

Step 9: Then share the project as your username_GSK. If I find everything okay I'll leave a note on your project confirming your membership.

If you are confused by these directions see other member's projects.

I would like to note that other things like the Guild of Scratch Knights have been made. (Such as SN) I did not copy these people and I don't blame them of copying me. There are many differnces between GSK and SN.

HOW TO PRINT SCREEN

When you save an image of your avatar or weapon/tool you need to print screen it. Let's say you were saving an image of your avatar. Once you have changed the avatar to your liking press the key on your keyboard that says    Print Screen/SysRq (See image below)

Then go into a basic picture editing program such as paint or corel. In the program click paste or press Ctrl-V. An image of what your screen looked like should appear. Crop the image to just the picture of your avatar. Then save it  on your computer. This way when you download the application project, you can replace the sample avatar with your avatar.

Scratch now provides a way to print the stage to a file.  Just right-click (option-click on Mac) on the stage (not in presentation mode).

Funkymonkey, You have been accepted on the Guild of Scratch Knights as Prince of Gordonca. Your applicatoin was found to be very informative, and was one of the best yet. Some duties for you will soon be posted, but not for now.

Not necessarily. Some princes were cousins, nephews, or some other distant relative.

I'm waiting for Lanie624 to make the cities in Gordonca. I gues you could write a short constitution for Gorgonca. For guidance you can refer to the constitution of Wenpebo@ http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Jacobo/51620
