I just burnt my tongue on [gosh darn monkey fighting] soup. How can I treat this? I need quick answers. Post your emergency medical dilemnas here and any available scratcher who's on can and should come here and tell you what to do. It's a great way to help your fellow scratchers! For example: I got glass in my head. Should I leave it in or take it out? Etc. But for now tell me how to stop my tongue from the pain.

Water.
I have to be with people I hate which I'm allergic to. Should I jump off a cliff or eat them alive?

Water doesn't help burns. In fact, the only reason is stops fire is because it blocks out air. Baking soda and sand do it way better than water, though I'm not going to put either of those things in my mouth.

It is a plant that is good to treat burns. It is kinda fat and juicy. It can be used in shampoo. But when it is put in a bottle for medical use, it is usually edible. It is kinda sweet. Lol. The nurse at my school gave me some.

Have you tried it? I have a feeling that aloe plant doesn't taste so good though. We have some at my house.

I have an aloe plant at my house. It's extremely bitter.

For the burned tongue, I'd think an ice cube would do the trick. Just be careful not to leave it in one place so long that you freeze the tissue and get frostbite (yes, I *am* speaking from experience).

I remember I had to go to the dentist, and I think they were removing like, 1 or 2 or 3 teeth. One of the things they did was numb my mouth. Because the numbing isn't perfect, it also numbs the tongue. It ended up distracting me, so I was biting my tongue, and in the end, we found out that my tongue actually started bleeding. It sounds terrible, but it's not all that dramatic. I just had to have many icecubes put on my tongue and stuff
I learned from that incident.
