Layering or Arranging sprites?

How do I get something like a ball to always appear in front of my spite that is throwing the ball.  Sometimes it goes in front of the guy, sometimes it goes behind him.
Thanks!

Hey ihmcs.

You should use the "Go To Front" block under the Looks section for this.

Re: Layering or Arranging sprites?

I made a simple routine for this recently. It has 2 scratch cats that randomly walk around. They compare y values to determine who is closest and then adjust accordingly. One thing though is that this works fine currently for only 2 moving sprites. Add more and it is gonna take some re-thinking...

but one of the cats (online at least) appears to be bugged and keeps getting bigger, just noticed that
