A note about CATBOT

Recently MRN posted CATBOT on the front page! Yayz! The entire team of us has worked hard on this project, and the final version is out. But the thing that disturbs me is the credits. The way he mentioned it, it seems like we were just santa's helpers, and adriangl is santa, getting all of the credit. Let me just refresh you of the exact notes on his project:

Wohoo! It's done. But sadly, only 11 commands work, any more would just glitch it. Sorry  sad  Credits: Adriangl, Lucario621, The-Whiz, RHY, and special thanks to BATzerk

He didn't really mention who did what, and how important they were in the project. Heres my opinion on who did what and how important they were.

The-Whiz: He is the one who created the main method of how the project works, and the main input scripts. He's the hub of the wheel, and we couldn't have made the projects without him. It may sound like he didn't do much, but he did a LOT, as far as the main engine.

Me: I did a bunch things, but all more minor. I first of all fixed and tested for bugs and glitches. I secondly added more commands. I thirdly gave this program the main interface, and sprites. I made the sprite which allows you to choose backgrounds (1s1s). I assembled the cat sprite, and although BATZERK made the cat sprite (so special thanks to him), I smoothed out the edges, considering the black background. I also made the smooth text method of how the Scratch Cat talks. Basically I'm the frame of the wheel, also very helpful, not not the most important.

Adriangl: He's like the person pushing the wheel, but the thing is, he didn't create the wheel, rather he pushed us in the right direction for this project. Basically he 1. Created the idea of the project and 2. Pushed us in the right direction to create his idea, and make it the best as possible. Still important.

RHY3756547 and Pinochio: They didn't do as much in this project from my perspective, but they did help us in certain ways, like RHY3756547 made the spotlight background, so they're like the shine and oil on the wheel, making it nice and slick.

BATzerk: He's the creator of the cat sprite, and generally all of the blinking stuff. But not the fish bowl  tongue . If it wasn't for him and me, the project could have looked more like this. This is because without BATzerk, we wouldn't have the sprite, and adriangl was against using his cat, so without me, we would have had a normal scratch cat.

I sure related the credits to a wheel, but it all makes sense really...

And no, I don't deserve more credit. We deserve more credit.

Re: A note about CATBOT

I WOULD have worked a bit more that that - but all my work on phrases was removed (D smile  and when I was designing a shiny new dropdown box scratch decided to do what it's best at and crash, so I gave up.

Good work anyways.  smile

All I did was fix a couple of glitches, so I understand why he did not credit me  hmm

I'm glad that CatBot is frontpaged - it certainly deserves it.  smile

I fall: It's a tragedy. You fall: It's comedy.
Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.
