My god, you can't even see a single star out at night with all the smog. Not to mention all the lights of the cars lighting it up. But we have a giant eagle or falcon or something living on the roof of the building (it's like 60 stories tall) which is kind of cool. You can hear it squacking and see it flying around sometimes too.

I named him Checkers, but the stupid butcher a couple of floors up calls him Rafter. What kind of dumb name is that? It's been a heated debate for a couple of months.

Checkers is an incredible name. In fact, tell him I said that.
I can see the Milky Way on a good night. But when it's cloudy, the light pollution makes the clouds look like a red portal to hell.
