A Question for the Artists on Scratch.

Why does EVERY single penguin, wolf, dog, cricket, wet carrot and RPG character have an emo fringe?

Since when did penguin's and wolfs style their hair?

Re: A Question for the Artists on Scratch.

I tend to avoid 'hairstyles' on animals.
I use patterns in the fur instead.
But it's sort of a thing with a lot of artists everywhere.

He's not technically an animal.
Only a demi-god who lost the ability to shift.
So it does not apply.

Not an animal, unless humans with overly large ears are animals.

Well, humans are animals, but I'm pretty sure we're talking about non-human animals.

Here's a couple of emo fringe animals I just made in paint:
Emo Fringe Bunny, Emo Fringe Frog, and last but not least, Emo Fringe Schleich Macrauchenia.

Eh-I am pretty sure out in the mountains and the valleys, cats with emo hairstyles don't have clan battles and have weird names that include either a: color, object in the sky, sky, a body part of that animal, or a word starting with z or x.

They're just probably people who think that emo fringes are cool (think of teenagers).  wink

Lawlz, I find those things hilarious xD

They look like little worms sprouting out of the animal's head.

Re: A Question for the Artists on Scratch.

None of my RPG charries have emo fringes. xD

But I agree, they do look kinda silly... especially if they're done in great detail with shading and highlights and such.

Re: A Question for the Artists on Scratch.

And some animals, for example, the frog I made, with the emo fringes don't even have hair available to make it like that. It's just funny though.

What's an emo fringe? It sounds bad

Re: A Question for the Artists on Scratch.

It's like an emo hair style. Hair draping over one side of your head, covering your eye.

Re: A Question for the Artists on Scratch.

I only give animals emo fringes if the animal has a personality and wanted it.

For example, Mao's star cat "Kata" has an emo fringe.
