I'm new and need urgent help please!

I've loaded Scratch onto a mini Dell notepad but can only see the top half of the screen and can't see a way of scrolling down to see the stage, sprites, etc.  Does anyone know how to get around this?

go to the top right. you will see 3 buttons
use the leftern one.

Is it fair to say I'm contented?

What is your screen resolution? You might want to change it to something like 1024x768px.
