There are many different dreams. There are at least 7 categories: Food Dreams, Foggy Dreams, Suspenseful Dreams, Horror Films, Fantasy Dreams, Stinging Dreams and one other one that is too inappropriate to mention.
Food Dreams involve eating food, and somehow managing to taste it. It incorporates a sense of taste or smell into your mind, which obviously isn't there.
Foggy Dreams are those dreams you can't seem to do anything in, or remember much afterwards.
Suspenseful Dreams are those dreams where you have an ominous feeling of suspense or anxiety in a dream, from expecting something bad to happen. This is the usual nightmare type dream you can remember.
Horror Dreams are dreams that involve you either dying, coming close to dying, or being shocked in some way. You can usually only remember fragments of this type of dream. It is obviously another nightmare type dream.
Fantasy Dreams are the dreams where nothing happens, but you feel like it does. For example, if you were flying or falling, or riding a rollercoaster, you can actually feel it. Fantasy may not be the best word to describe this type of dream.
Stinging Dreams can be any of the above type of dream, but it involves you getting hurt, possibly stabbed or bitten. You then suddenly wake up because of a twitch in your leg, or other body part, prepared by your brain for the impact of getting hurt. You can usually feel it in your affected area, but over the course of a couple of seconds, you'll forget how it happened, and eventually where it happened.

1. Wolves have a certain aura about them that draws a human's attention towards them. They appear so stoic and mysterious that they have been caught in poems and humanity's unexplained fears. It's really interesting.
3. I own a shirt that says "...And then Buffy staked Edward. The End." Self-Explanatory.
