I got chrome
Now I can comment, reply, favorite and everythin' 
So I just finished replying to all of my comments and stuff.
Heres what I've noticed so far.
-Theres a spell-checker
-Its slightly faster, but not necessarily like how everybody else was talking about.
-It fixed all of my scratch problems

Chrome is good, but I find the lack of a bunch of buttons at the top .... what's the word? Well whatever, but I don't like it

Firefox haz spellchecker etc. too. Chrome is pretty good - but it isn't working with my windows for some reason.

Wrong. It's like 2x more expensive at most. You have Scratch 1.4, and Windows 3.1 can't run 1.4, or even Scratch 1.1, so you don't have 3.1.
