I extremely dislike spamming. Even worse, some spam posts take up several screens. These ridiculously long spam posts have been found on both the TBG forums and the I&M forums. I'm not requesting the forums closed, but I do dislike the alarming amount of spam.
Topics:
Several screen space spam (4S1)
Several screen smiley spam (4S2)
Several screen nonsense spam (3S:nonsnce)
Several screen spam in general (3S)
Spam in general (SiG)
Second-hand-spam (ShS)
Please tell me what you think about the situation. If you have a story on 3S, please post the appropriate code in the parenthesis above, then post your story. Suggested examples are welcome.

I was once a 4S2 spammer (but only on one board). But I deleted all of my 4S2 posts.

Please tell me what you think about the situation. I need to know how you feel about it. Suggestions, anyone?

(Clearing things up= I am ICanCountToThree)
I used to think that this putting the most smiley thing was fun, but then it took forever to scroll to the bottom of the page, so I deleted all my spam posts.

Ah, but what about the forums?

I recently spammed on a thread, but everyone before me spammed smileys too.

I have a question... do moderators close topics with loads of spam, or just clean up the spam and leave a message along the lines of "Please do not spam in the forums. Thanks, and Scratch On!" ?

If the topic is spam itself, it gets closed, and if the topic is a game in which you have to spam, it gets closed. If it's just one post of spam, the spammer receives a message.
...that's what I think it is.

I don't care much when people spam, but if I receive comments that are spam, I delete them (or flag them if the spam is just horrible).

What about threads that have good intent, but then a barrage of spam postings follow?

Actually that would be really useful for us so we can tell exactly what not to do.
