What kind of sound files does Scratch support?

I just bought this song from iTunes and I want to use it in scratch. For some reason it dosn't import into scratch. Right now the file is a MPEG-4 file. Do I have to convert it into something else? Someone please help!

Re: What kind of sound files does Scratch support?

Hi mariodog, I think this will help.
-Scratch does not support MPEG-4
-Scratch does support MP3
-Scratch does support WAV
So the answer is yes, you will have to convert it.
Most times, converting MPEG-4s is trick, because of all the firewalls i-tunes has put around them. What I suggest is go to you're local library and get a copy of that CD. Then import the song onto a music player that converts into MP3s while being put on the computer. (I think rhaspody does, I know i-tunes dosen't, and Windows Media Player converts into WMA. You're best bet is Rhaspody.)
Hope that helps!
