Do you wear a watch?

Hmm? Well? Post your answers  smile

Also what color is it, what features does it have, etc.

When my mom came home from a trip from Europe, she got me a casio watch. Its a light blue (so not the best appearence) and it has a square face to it. Its digital, it has 16 buttons (lolz) witha lot of features. Its first of all a normal watch, with hours minutes and seconds, AM or PM, and day of the week. Also it has a calculator with the basic 4 operators and decimal. In addition it has an alarm (which I use to wake up for school at 6:45  smile  ). Over to the next feature, it has a dual time feature, so you can keep track of an additional time zone. Lastly it has a stop watch, it goes up to 60 minutes I think, and you can do things such as when you stop it to record a lap, it is hiddenly is still running, and once you click it again, you can see the current time, so you can keep track of laps. It is QUITE a watch. A nerdy one really  tongue

Also upload pictures if you want  smile  I will probably soon.

Re: Do you wear a watch?

I have a blue, sleek, four function digital watch. It is really good at keeping the time, yet I put it 4 minutes ahead for no apparent reason. :3 It can light up, have a stopwatch, and an alarm.

Believe it or not, another person from my class wears the EXCACT same watch?

The probability of THAT happening with THEM is around 1 in 569th of a chance.

Re: Do you wear a watch?

My brother actually has the same watch as me, and he sets the time to the school bell. That way he can actually count each exact second until next class  lol

Re: Do you wear a watch?

I don't have a watch right now, my old one broke. I'm going to buy a retro digital clock when I have the money for it.

Re: Do you wear a watch?

My current watch has 5 independent alarms plus a number of date reminder alarms and gets set by the atomic clock radio signal to GMT at midnight every night. It has hands and a digital readout, which can be set to show the date (plus seconds) or the date plus the name of the day, the time (with seconds) or the time in another country (with initials showing where).  Plus stopwatch and countdown timer.

The nicest watch I ever owned (still own, but it seems to have stopped working) was a casio analogue watch with a window for the day of the month, and a built in stopwatch.  It was waterproof to 150m and had a one-way rotating bezel for use as a safe diving timer.  Its most important feature (and the reason it cost 200 pounds sterling) was the built-in depth gauge for scuba-diving.  It also had commercial dive-tables stamped on the side of the strap.

If money were no object, I'd get one of these:

Hand made (over 900 man-hours), riveted, and purely mechanical (not digital) yet still able to run a perpetual calender (ie, no having to move the day on one when the month only has 30 days) accurately for 100 years before needing adjustment.

Re: Do you wear a watch?

I used to have a * $20 digital watch from Wal-Mart. The watch band broke two years ago. It still works. Hey, I haven't tried it on for a while, maybe I've grown enough so that it'll fit me again!

That... is quite a watch on the bottom.

Re: Do you wear a watch?

Yesh. Its just a plain old digital watch I bought with my allowance at Wal-mart.  wink
But I did get one of those fancy looking ones with the sterling silver bands and stuff for Christmas. I still have to go to the jewler and adjust it so it fits. Its an adult one.

Wow. I would be afraid that if I put it on it would explode.
