Re: What are your favorite words?

I don't have a favourite word, but there are a few at my school that are... random to say the least:
Pedigree. Siberean. Hamster. (No one knows why, but this has appeared in every conversation with one of my friends)

WALRUS! (I got the part of the Walrus in Alice Through the Looking Glass, and was practicing my lines at lunch. One of my friends overheard, and it's his favourite word now (He actually proclaimed, "That's my word now!") )

Duck Cheese Boi (Apparently, another friend of mine ate a block of cheese for lunch. And he looks like a duck (according to some mis-guided souls in Year 12). And he's a boy. Even the teachers call him D.C.B sometimes)

Pnemoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconosis

I also like the word rhombus. And pentagram.

Geometric objects have fun names!

Re: What are your favorite words?

Floccinaucinihilipilification, longest word in the dictionary that isn't a medical term  big_smile

Floccinaucinihilipilification, n.
The estimation of something as worthless

I also like sesquipedalian, its an adjective that means "has many syllables."  Coincidental?  I think not.  big_smile

Hmm... strange.  Both words are real, but they didn't appear correct in scratch's dictionary.  Look them up on google, or type them in Microsoft Word, it will show up correct though  tongue

My favorite made-up word would have to be "fwaa".  I say it when I've done something really well  big_smile

Re: What are your favorite words?

My favorite word is "pulchritudinous."

I like it because despite what it sounds like, it means "beautiful."  lol

It sounds like an adjective that describes the scum you get when a steam roller flattens your cat. o.O
