...:::LATEST NEWS:::...
ATTENTION:
ALL MUST GO IN THE IDEA CHAT ROOM GALLERY TO DISCUSS OUR IDEAS. Please note though, it is nearly impossible to get every single member inside of the gallery all at the same time, so it may take time to get started. If no one is in the gallery at that time, please just leave your comment or idea, and we will check once in a while.
To all who are interested, you can create a logo representing Create_Inc and submit it into the audition gallery. Have fun!
Lucario621, is our newest member as a programmer, and just became our new music-directer and decides what sound effects goes into our game. Congratulations!
The "News" section has now been removed from the club, because no one was interested. If there is anyone who is willing to take the part, I may put it back on the topic.

I am wondering, if I join a company like yours, would that mean that the company would help me finish all those ideas that I begin but never complete?
Like this: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/75081
And maybe to make something out of this: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/AlveKatt/74984

I'd love to join, but I already have a lot of duties, and I'm already in Crank inc., sorry.
I hope your new company will be great and successful, wish you luck!

Sounds nice.
Though school is starting again monday, which means that I pretty much won't do any scratching until the next week off in the middle of febuary.
What I would really like for the rescue ship project is a mission randomiser. I have figured a way that should work (the position of the first victim is allready randomized within the mission area with an excempt area for the little tiny stone island thing), but it's so much code... But so as not to make it boring I want to make a few other kinds of missions first. The randomizer would cycle the type of missions but set a random location for each mission. The location can't be totally random though. Missions to pick up people in the water or from boats need to be on random location in the water, so x/yvalues with islands in them need to be excempt from the randomizer. Pick up victim from burning building should be easyer. Just pick one of the available buildings randomly. Missions to pick up climbers lost on the mountain must be randomized to a mountainside, on a specific distance from a peak or cliff that you shouldn't crash into with the ship or be gameover.
I am also considering to have a difficulty increase every new mission cycle. Just make some values to variables, like wind speed, the time the victim can hold out in the water, the distance of dangerous peaks to mountaineers you need to pick up and such.
I have removed the 3d version of the ship. It ate too much resources that I need to keep track of new features in new missions. The next mission is supposed to have trees you can crash into, for example...
What do you think?
Oh. And my deviant art gallery: http://alvekatt.deviantart.com/gallery/

I wouldn't mind being part of this company. It's the first I have seen started by someone that knows how to spell.
The question is if you think it's ok that I can't take that much part in it when I don't have a school break.
The designer part might be an option though, as I never stop drawing stuff. Did you look at my Deviant Art gallery? Drawing stuff by request is very good for creativity as long as I get alot of freedom when interpiting those requests.

Really? I always thought SonicPops's topic about Crank inc. had good grammar..

That may be so, but I haven't seen that.

AlveKatt, are you making a joke about the mis-spelling in the title of this thread?

Oops, really, MITscratcher spelled "develop" wrong... I didn't notice. ^_^

Well, I always do spell check; Good grammar is important to me. "Anything worth doing is worth doing well".

Kevin: To my great embarrasment I must admit I didn't notice that...
To all involved: Are we going to start a project now? I want ideas to inspire my drawing! That dragon butler game I was planning could be a fun project. But I am open for suggestions.
Anyway. The dragon Butler game might be too much work. I have been toying with the idea of making an interactive story thing. With multiple answers that bransches the story in different directions. The biggest work load would be writing all the story branches, as the they would increase exponentially with every multiple choise opportunity the game has. I think creating such a thing would be interesting for self development as it would lead to interesting discussions for what kind of repercussion every choise would have, if it would be good or bad, if choise number 1 could have good repercussions when combined with choise 2, but bad repercussions if combined with choice 3, and so on.
What do you think?

Many interactive stories are written with converging story lines, so there are many paths through the story, but you often end up in the same places. This reduces the amount of writing needed enormously:
linear story: a -> b -> c -> d -> e -> f
interactive story:
a -> b -> c -> d -> e
\> d' -> e'
\> b' -> c' -> d'
\> c" -> d
and so forth.

For those who are interested, I have created an "idea" chat room because we need to brainstorm. PLEASE GO IN THE CHAT ROOM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT WE CAN HAVE OUR FIRST CLUB MEETING.

AlveKatt, I need to know what SPECIFIC job(s) you want. And for all others, I NEED to know which parts you would like to do. You also NEED to audition in the link at the top of the front page.

AlveKatt, look at some of the "Choose Your Own Adventure" stories (there are several different series, and most libraries with children's sections will have at least one or two---ask the children's librarian). Go through the book, and make a map of the different routes through the book. Most of them will have several ways of getting to just a few crucial scenes.
