Collapsing...It....Wil.....

The world of scratch is slightly collapsing.

People are posting more and more projects that are just about artwork (not animation)
I am O.K. with remix projects, but they can get pretty high in numbers. The scratch world was origanally for Programming (no duh). Now people are making projects that have very MINAMAL script work. I don't mean 1s1s, they have the some of the most scriptwork; i mean the projects that aren't like spritework or anything and are basicly just like:

                                             <when green flag clicked>>

                                                        <forever>
                                                            <next costume>
                                                                 <end>

Now THATS minimal scripting. Tis-Tis.

Re: Collapsing...It....Wil.....

Wrong. Scratch was not intended for programming. If you listened to the Scratch conference. It clearly states that Scratch was intended for kids of all ages to express themselves. Also look at the main tags that are available when you first upload a project. The 6 main tags are Animation, Art, Game, Music, Simulation, and Story. So it was mainly intended for those things.

What Scratch is becoming now is more diverse meaning it is expanding. So it isn't collaspsing but becoming better.

Happy New Year!

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>
