Board not being registered

I'm on a Mac 10.6.2 and have installed the the driver but even when plugged in scratch does not register the picoboard, everything is still as zeros.

Can anyone help me get it working?

Re: Board not being registered

I have windows so I can only guesse, but have you tried getting up the "select serial usb port" option (on windows you do this by right clicking on the Scratchboard watcher) and then selecting each of the options in turn until the numbers are no longer 0? I did that and eventually found out that the correct one for me was COM17

hope that helps

When I go on 'select serial/USB port' it come up with one option - '/dev/cu.R-SerialPort' when I click on this it says that it is on briefly before going off again and is still not showing anything.

Re: Board not being registered

Please send me an email to danny (at) playfulinvention (dot) com. I believe I have a driver that should resolve the issue. It will likely be posted later this week on our website, but I can send it to you now.

Re: Board not being registered

You don't actually need a driver- just plug the board right into your parallel port.
Or, if you have one, use a parallel port cable.

This worked, at least, on my XP pro SP3, on 1.3.1 and 1.4.
