First of all, on behalf of the whole of the Fox team, I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Speaking of the New Year, FoxTrot is still on schedule to come out 8:00 am Tokyo, Japan on December 31rd, 3:00 pm December 30th in west coast of the US, and 6:00 pm December 30th on the east coast. I will make my first attempt at uploading 10 minutes early, to have time to fix any difficulties I may encounter.
So far, I have finished the draggable window system and have added 2 other boot modes, along with a password-setter for the only account, Scratchers. I have added a lightweight browser, so that people will actually learn about this OS, learn how to use it, etc. I am making a file browser for the OS, and another application that you can open files with. In 1.0, it will only be compatible to text files and raw F++ code. In later versions, I may add compatibly for movie files, music, and (unlikely) 3D files where you can move around.
Well, I think that this is it for now. I will continue to inform you about what comes up in the development of FoxTrot.
