Cat Genie! You press the button, and never touch Cat Litter Again!!!!!(Basically chops up the cat and puts it in a plastic bag.

Where are you checking for your projects? Not every project shows up in the "Newest Projects" section of the front page - try looking on your "My Stuff" page instead.

What did you name the project? If you named it the same as your other projects it will overwrite.

Re: I get an error when I try to upload/share my Scratch project

Open up your project, click Share (look at the top), fill in the form, and click OK. It'll tell you when it's uploaded.  smile

Re: I get an error when I try to upload/share my Scratch project

I'm trying to upload a project with just a black background (.1 KB) and a sprite (24 KB). That's only 24.1 KB. But when I upload it, it says "Uploading 11604 KB..."  sad  Then it says "Project may be too large; maximum size 10 MB." 1024 KB is a MB. WHERE IS THIS OTHER 10000 KB COMING FROM!? I need your help, Scratchers... And if you didn't understand a word I said, it's okay, you can go somewhere else. Thank you – GIRandCupcakes

Re: I get an error when I try to upload/share my Scratch project

My dress-up game...

I finished it, but then lost the Internet so couldn't upload...
I saved it. Waited the entire time it took to save. Closed it.

The next day, I tried to open it, and it gave me this error:

Could not read project; flie may be damaged.

I can't open it AT ALL.
See this project of mine and this forum topic I made for more info.

I have a problem.  I can't post my project on the computer because supposedly it's too big to upload.  Is there anyway to fix it?  It's currently 18,755 KB.

Did you compress it? I have a file Waaaaaaaay larger than that, like 49 KB? And compressing wouldnt fix my problem. But compressing would fix that. I think.

Re: I get an error when I try to upload/share my Scratch project

Wow. There's so many problems here. They should make an online uploader for experimental purposes that might rule out some of the bugs given here; it worked for the online players, so why not here?

Re: I get an error when I try to upload/share my Scratch project

When I got an error on EVERY SCRATCH PROJECT I TRY TO UPLOAD, I uninstalled Scratch and installed again. Now it works. So now people think I'm rubbish, or I've left, because of THIS STUPID BUG!!! Try this, see if it works.

Same with me... I've tried to re upload and I've tried unchecking compress sounds and images... Not sure what the problem is but it's really tickin me off.

Re: I get an error when I try to upload/share my Scratch project

When uploading a project you want to be close to your router, the closer you are the faster the conection. If you were reaching the 10 meter mark (away form your router) you may get a "timed out" error as the computer has taken too long to send the data to the scratch server and has cut of the connection.

Re: I get an error when I try to upload/share my Scratch project

I was trying to upload a student project onto their site, but received an error message because of the file size. I have compressed sound and image sizes to the minimum values but it is still 14.3 Mb. The reason for uploading it is so I could get the applet code, which I was then planning on embedding in a Wix website. Anybody have a way around this?
Thanks.
