What do you celebrate?

Do you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or something else?

I celebrate Christmas, although I do not really believe in god...

Re: What do you celebrate?

I don't think Christmas (in America, at least) is such a Christian celebration anymore. D8

I mean, it's all Santa and reindeer and presents but almost no mention of God or anything like that. D8 New Year is celebrated like that here. And Christmas is a purely Christian holiday and is celebrated January 7th (and is less popular). >.>

Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Re: What do you celebrate?

Christmas, but for some reason, it's offensive to say Merry Christmas
* is with that? Why would people be so offended if it's not so much a Christian Holiday anymore?

I'm an atheist but celebrate Christmas, so yes, it isn't openly religious for me.

Also, Non-Christian Christmas was just a marketing ploy by Coca-Cola (the Santa part at least) and I guess it just grew...

Re: What do you celebrate?

On an unrelated sidenote, I also like Christmas because it abbreviats to X-Mas
X!
