Something is wrong with my pc and I can only upload tiny projects. So I did this one as it is another type of scroller that I will use eventually. I tried using left/right arrows to steer the ship but the movement always initially hesitated.

Controls-
the ship points toward your mouse pointer
up arrow gives it gas

No laser firing or collisions or such yet. I figured this would be the hard part but I figured it out in one night. Probably some redundant, crazy math in there though but hey, it is working!! The circle would be the asteroid. Notice that it not only scrolls correctly but also has its own inertia and direction. Woot! Please check this out and post comments?!?!!
