Heybrian, thanks a lot for being such a helpful member of the community and helping other people. The Scratch Team really appreciates your level of involvement. However, I think you should try to be a bit less defensive towards people who participate in the forum thread you started. The forums are an open place for anyone to post messages, there is no particular ownership of a thread. Of course, it is good to keep a thread conversation on topic, but if someone else offers their opinion about the same topic that should be fine. You should feel proud that archmage and others are following the conversation that you started! :-)

Why do you need that? OH, well. Here:
Your sprite:
[block]
<when green flag clicked>
<set{ enemy health }to( 10
<forever>
<if><key[ space ]pressed?>
<if><touching[ enemy sprite
<change{ enemy health }by( 1
<end>
<end>
<if><( <{ enemy health }> <<> 1 )>
<hide>
<end>
<end>
[/block]

what is scratchboard, i never got exactly what it is.
Offline
um, no...
i just googled( or igoogled, technically) it, and it is an external sensor board that you can buy that has things like a sound, and light sensor.
that is what the "when "A" connected" thing is for.

it cost money, which sucks
