How do you get Audacity files to Scratch?

Please give very step by step instructions.
So I got a new microphone, I don't want it to go to waste. And the quality isn't very good if directly recorded in Scratch, unless I speak really slowly. So the title says it all.

Record a sound on Audacity. Take it to a location. Save as MP3. Then "Import" on the sound section of scratch.

Ah. You don't click "Save" otherwise that saves it as an audacity file. You need to click "export as MP3/WAV" instead. You should be able to import it from there.
