What you say here is pretty much the same than saying "you should steal because other people do it". Users slowing down the server (which AFAIK don't slow it down much) isn't an excuse for not removing your notifications.

However I think this mostly applied to the people that had thousands of notifications stored to show them off, I suppose you have at the most 100, so it shouldn't overload the server much. tongue
