Is it allowed to bump up topics that are in multi-stickies?

I'll just explain why I'm wondering here:

With real stickies, you don't have to worry about bumping them up. They're already at the top. And multi-sticky topics were created for saving space with stickies, right? So the topics in multi-stickies are 'stickies'. Now, it gets complicated. If you don't have to worry about bumping up stickies, what about bumping up topics in the multi-stickies? Is it considered rude?

Re: Is it allowed to bump up topics that are in multi-stickies?

I feel it depends on the type of bump itself. If the intention was purely just to get it back on the front page, I'd probably consider that rude. However, if the bump stuck to the topic in some way (such as if there were edits that the thread owner made that are relevant to note, or even if a user wanted to compliment about how helpful the topic is), I wouldn't consider that a bad bump.  smile
