I just watched teh coolest doomsday simulations

Seriously. They were AWESOME. On National Geographic this morning, I happened to be watching TV, and I saw the Tsunami one, so I decided to see them all. They were nice. There was 4 of them: Tsunami, Meteorites, Plague, and Strangelet (blackhole particle thing). It was all based on one guy mainly, who is trying to get to work or something, and each simulation, he runs into different problems, and while its filming him, it also films TVs near him, with the news about it. The wierd thing though is that the news channel is BBC (UK). Maybe that sounds wierd, but I don't know much about it since I live in the U.S. And believe me, they just get more and more epic. Heres some breif descriptions:

Tsunami: Basically, on the west coast of africa, some island splits into two, and causes a huge wave coming to cities on the east coast of the U.S. Most people have to evacuate 3 miles inland, and some people survive, but some don't have time. It comes in 2 miles. People that are on top of tall buildings also survive.

Meteors: In the Far East, people see some meteorites in the night. The next morning people start investigating, and they find out a meteorite is going to come, aiming at Berlin, and might wipe out the whole earth. They try to defend from it, by shooting a missle against it, but it just makes it worse by turning it into many tinier pieces. During this simulation, a father and son are trying to get to a plane ride to somewhere else, and the kid wanders off crazily into a airport train ride, and on it, he looks out the windows, and he suddenly sees them coming from the sky.

Plague: On one day, somebody on an airplane in the U.K. is about to launch, but somebody is found dead, although is not shot. The plane is quarentined, although because the other passengers evacuated, and they were in his plane, it spread, and eventually it becomes a world outbreak. Many places are quarentined, and people are told not to leave their houses. During this simulation a mother recognizes it on the news, although she wants to send a message to her grandmother. Although her grandmother is in an area, which when the lady arrives, it is about to be quarentined, she makes a message, and sends it into the mailbox (in the door actually), and the camera inside building shows that she's actually fat, and is lying on the floor dead, from the plague. I love plague movies :D

'Stranglet'. The people in the U.S. have created some type of particle accelerator that once tested, may create a simulation of the big bang (not a computer simulation). They want to do it, but people are investigating if its safe or not. At first they are going to do it. But then they decide that they won't because of the change of becoming a black whole. But then they decide to do it, because they find out that the chances of that happening is like winning a lottery 3 times in a row. Also theres a stranglet theory, which is basically like a black whole. Well the science nerd, gets into the building, and they make it sound like it's against the law, and he goes by the countdown, and once it happens, there are explosions from the particle accelerator, and it creates this freak storm. It basically sucks everything in, and well I think you know what happens after that.

It was a total of 1 hour long so 15 minutes each, but it was just mind blowing. I was like raising the volume to hear stuff, but my mom was like 'QUIET DOWN!!!!'. :P If I find a link to it on youtube, than I'll post it...
