Re: Do you think art belongs on scratch?

Art and animations have special sites (deviantart, newgrounds) made specifically for them. Scratch programming only has one.  tongue

Re: Do you think art belongs on scratch?

I think art is ok on Scratch  smile  Is it harming anyone?

Besides, Scratch is for sharing different types of projects. I think some people have become caught up under the fact "Scratch can program, Scratch MUST program!". It was only a few weeks ago people we're against animations...

To sum this up, while it is true Scratch can be used for programming, it doesn't really mean everything else has to be chased away from the site.

I'd actually like to know what the Scratch Team thinks of this  big_smile  Is or isn't Scratch just for programming 100%?...

It's only harming the people who make great projects, but never get on the front page because of all the ART.

I just wish there could be different sections for art and games/simulations, so it is fairer...

What about a "What we recommend" thing that shows projects recently given a love-it by people with similar tastes to you worked out by the projects that you and him/her love's tags etc.

Art is just a loved topic. Is it illegal to be an artist! Should Da Vinci be stripped of his title!

Art is just a nice, easy thing we can do!  smile

if its not interactive, I think it does not belong on scratch! There are so many websites devoted to art, and scratch is for animations and games...
