I can't upload..
For the last few days, I've been unable to upload my project.
I get an error message "Failed: unable to upload scratch file", after it hangs on "Data sent. Waiting for response.." message.
My file was initially 20Mb (eek!), but I've managed to get it down to 5Mb or so and still have the same problem.
I love the software and would love to be able to share my creations. Please help

I'm still getting the same issue. My scratch file is 2.3 Mb so well within limits. I think its a connection issue. IP related?

I just created a tiny test project that uploaded fine, so it seems to be something to do with my project, rather than connection/ip issues.
Most of my project is music.. like a 5Mb soundfile and a meg or so of images/control stuff. It runs fine on my PC.

Check the size of your project. If you included a 5MB sound mp3 file it is very likely that Scratch decompressed it and now your project is way beyond our 8MB limit. Try compressing your fie by going to the 'extras' button. Also, try cutting your sound file so it only uses a few seconds of the music. The same with the images.

I can echo this... it's baffling me... Test file (open scratch and try and upload the cat) worked fine, but my own project won't upload. Size 2.43MB
I normally save on a different drive on my PC but saving in the default folder didn't help
Thought it might be a busy server so tried at 07:31 UK time (02:31 EST)
I've read all the other threads... can't understand what's going on..HELP?

Hi, all.
Sorry you are having these problems. We just moved to a new server and some setting seems to be limiting the size of uploaded projects to only 2 MB. The old server accepted projects up to 7 MB. We are looking into this problem and will post here when it is fixed.

Worked for me ... Didi Footy is up.. had already compressed sounds, next time may look at using built in sounds.

I have two projects I want to upload, one is my 'Cat eat Fish' which Tammy fixed, I''ve made some minor adjustments like the speed of the cat and stuff and I want to upload it but I can't, it says Data sent. Waiting for response... the Failed:invalid user, I've checked my password and username, thy're fine, this is the same for a project I did completley myself. Earlier I managed to upload a project 'Thanks to Tammy', so why can't I upload the others? ^o)
