Anyway, I'm not sure what Year 8 equates to on the Grades system. But it's the group of 12-13 year olds... is that 7th Grade? Can't be bothered to go and check.
Silly english schools and their grade skipping.
You don't get that over here.
At least not in my school.

You can get held back a year, but never heard of anyone getting sent forward one.

We don't get grade-skipping countrywide. Nearer to London, yes, but not this far out

Factorise this.
15y^2 - 26y - 21
Shouldn't be too hard.

There are plenty of better choices for moderators, no offense.
I'm not one of them though![]()
I guess I'd be too young, anyway... I'm only 9. (almost 10 in April)

High school starts earlier here, but I think I can explain how English, Scottish and American grades overlap... I'm not sure if I'm right, but I'll give it a go...
English Scottish American
YR No idea Preschool (I think...)
Y1 Not a clue Kindergarten
Y2 Still, no idea 1st Grade
Y3 Ummm.... 2nd Grade
Y4 See above... 3rd Grade
Y5 And again... 4th Grade
Y6 D: Confused 5th Grade
Note - in England and Scotland (well, from what the others have said) we start high school here...
Y7 S1 (AMIRITE?) 6th Grade
Y8 S2 7th Grade
Y9 S3 8th Grade
Y10 S4(?) 9th Grade
Y11 S5(?) 10th Grade
Note - in England, we start 6th Form or College here... I'm not sure about Scotland or the USA...
Note - Y12 and Y13 are optional currently, but the current Y8s (meeeeeeeee!) will have to take Y12 mandatorially (?), and the current Y6s (liddle bro...) will have to take Y12 and Y13. I'm really not sure about further education, though...

I sort of feel like bots will be eating this survey information. So you can decide what grade I am in.
