ROM downloads aren't illegal if you actually own the game, so if you download games you have you're safe. Unfortunately, it's illegal just to give links to them, so you'll have to do some searching first.
Downloading ROM hacks are fine.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Thx for all of the attention to this post. Bacically I might be willing to do it if I won't get in legal trouble. How can a GP2X Whiz run roms? Can it hack them too? I just want to make a full custom pokemon game but I can't use rpg maker.

The connect the GP2X to the computer with a USB cable, then you go in to a website where you can download software for a GP2X, download some emulator for instance a SNES emulator then google SNES ROMS and transfer the emulator and roms to the GP2X.

yes hmn is right. i play pokemon rom hacks all the time xD (but i own the original version of the game)

It's legal if you download fake games. I have pokemon shiny gold rom. There's many others and it's funny to see what some are like.
Legal because they arn't copyrighted
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Ok wow, I thought that this had died a while ago. Guess I was wrong. Anyway, I don't think my parents will let me, legal or not, especially after I read something on nintendos site about it and they said that they are all illegal. Thanks for all of the help anyway.
